- Go to Storms In The Area Tonight...
I think the closet is a good idea for refuge - it's also more fortified than being out in the room, and there's framework around you in case the roof gets dislodged. Stay safe.

They are a force to be reckoned with and one that is best not ignored. A closet sounds like a good place to ride out a tornado.

Storms can be so frightening because they can be destructive.

Re: CCT.....
I like your idea of a carpet....so I have changed my mind. I think I would take refuge in my bathroom and keep a carpet there for storms. I like the idea of all needs being met in the same place.....a toilet, drinking water, a carpet to roll up in and a large shower to lie in rolled up in the carpet.. there is also a closet that simple foods could be stored in to have for a lengthy time of rescue. No broken glass anywhere ....and how about a megaphone to call out to rescuers in the area.

Good Afternoon
I always think about where I would go if we had a bad storm. I have a walk-in closet, and I think that's where I would go too. I hope you stay safe when the storms come through your area.

I think I would just lie in bed with a carpet on top of my usual . I could not think what to call my usual attire as I no longer have a suit of armor for such occasions.. I am trying to make my replies more interesting it needs a thunderstorm to stop me falling asleep. Perhaps I should not have stock-hoed a section of the garden but I have to do things before I get too old. 🌺

I believe my area is in line for those same storms. I hope I'm ready.
