Re: FSI.....

I think everyone here can do it and be a force for "Make a better world with AI".  One just has to be on their toes all the time or get lost in the shuffle.  LOL

Re: Good Evening

Goldiec, with what you already know about computers and using one on Blogit, you have what it takes to use AI and make it count for good.  Anyone using AI knows that it can be used for either bad or good....just like the difference between an ambulance to help people or a vehicle to run somebody down on purpose.  If enough people use it for good it can balance out bad done for greed.   Don't let the bad people out-weigh the good.   Our grandchildren ( my great-grandchildren) are already being taught and using AI.

I'm not a big fan of AI! I know it has its uses they just don't impress me thst much right now. Indeed, we do get older. The point for me is to live the fullest I can with each day I'm given.

Re: Pat.....

Whatever AI is, good, bad, or ugly, it is here to stay in this crazy, dangerous, evil, world and the best way to keep it from getting worse in any way is to use it and make it work in a beneficial way instead of a harmful way.  I learned a long time ago that ignorance is bliss and that we have to always work hard against any evil of any kind.

I just wonder , let me think, yes it is coming./ Oh! Oh! I lifted and caried ten bucketful's of soil this morning, yes my arm feels a bit stiff. Now what were we worried about . Oh! yes.

I wonder if getting something for nothing is logical?🌺

How lucky for her to make it past her 100th birthday and still be independent. I'd love to hear her thoughts about the changing world she has experienced throughout her life, and what her favorite decade was.

After reading several articles on the dark side of AI, I avoid using it at all costs. The use of AI raises significant privacy concerns, as individuals' personal data may be exploited without consent. AI thrives on user data. Every click, movement, voice command, image upload, and online interaction becomes training material. As AI-enabled systems spread across homes, workplaces, and public spaces, surveillance expands quietly in the background. Users rarely understand how much data they’re giving away, or how it’s being stored, sold, or analyzed.

Re: Good Evening

Goldiec....well there seems to be a lot of moverin' going on without me doing the moverin'.  I will think things are gone that I want and then out off the blue I find them somewhere else......  It's kind of like someone comes in my house while I'm gone and moves things all around to different places.   Keeps me on my toes.

It's all about finding the AI balance. I believe you can find it.

Taps, you're not the only one who's got serious doubts about AI and what it means to the world. I hope we're wrong to worry and that it's just another helpful tool.

Good Evening

Taps, please let me know what you find out about AI.  It makes me very nervous.
