Sam444, I gave up donating when I started to feel sick. I used to love giving blood, but being sick is totally different. I hope you have a good night.

As a platelet donor, that is great about Caesar donating blood. I'm curious as to what his blood type will be. That will also determine whether or not platelets is the way to go for him.

For many years I donated blood. I remember when I got my first golden blood drop after my first gallon. It felt great to donate so much. However, one bad experience and I was done. A nurse had trouble finding my vein, she missed three times and my arm was sore and ached for 2 weeks. I stopped after that experience.

I hope you find a good deal on the AC units!

I used to donate blood regularly, but the last time I did I got sick afterwords. As for the temperature, our weatherman was severely off his mark with today's report. It was supposed to be sunny and 80 degrees, but instead it was windy, wet and chilly. I'm crossing my fingers that tomorrow is a better day.

CCT, Oh my! Was it hepatitis? I had my hepatitis shots when I volunteered for the cert team, so I think I'm good. I hope you have a good day.

I gave blood once and then I was told not to give any more because I had contracted some disease when young. Goodness I forget what it was. 😊
