Re: Anib.... Ma’am TAPS,

Absolutism is a characteristic trait in  Shakespearean tragedies, and the concept has been managed with great finesse in many of the heroic portrayals of its protagonists. Shakespeare exploited the immense potential for broadening and applying the platform as a major component of character projection – as we may see in King Lear, Macbeth, Othello, and to an extent, also in Antony and Cleopatra. And, ma’am, firmness of whatever one believes in, is 😊 good …. No need to change.

Re: Sis Sam,

Absolutism is a characteristic trait in Shakespeare’s tragic heroes. And this was not without a reason. But you do analyse the write-up so pointedly that I do  appreciate and admire your observations. Thank you so much 😊 for your loveky analysis.

It seems to have a measurable degree of good and evil. I likened it to a protagonist and antagonist theme with the 'hero' possessing the right qualities for the optimum plot development. It keeps the reader interested. That should be the goal along with thought provoking discussions thereafter! Nice work as well. You  do a fine job with your critiques!

Good write because it is interesting and you remake an interest.

Madness and evil went hand in hand in this great tragedy where his demands of love had severe consequences.

Anib....

I really like to read Shakespeare but I believe there is nothing or no-one  "Absolute" except God.  And I'm too old to change my way at my age (and certainly don't want to.)   Glad we both are still on Blogit now and then. It's been a fun ride.
