I don't think our teachers were very reproachable but it was wartime and we had to keep running to the shelters. I think you were brave in a way confronting your fears, it is never easy.

Good morning

FSI, I didn't realize this could happen to teachers.  I had teachers over the years that I did not like, but I would never want this to happen to them.  I think your teacher was very nice.

She sounds like she was a sweet lady. I have heard that teachers often experience cognitive overload due to stress and anxiety brought on by the many lesson plans they must keep up with each day. Those issues can eventually lead to memory loss. Actors deal with it as well due to the pressure of remembering scripts. I learned about this when my cousin Charlotte was diagnosed with dementia. She was a schoolteacher who was adored by her students.
