Re: sam444,

The breathing is fine. The most annoying bit is not being able to sleep on my left side: all my insides put pressure on those ribs all night, and by morning, they are quite cranky!

Re: Sherri G,

Sore ribs are tricksy--just when you think they're fine, a sudden cough or a bend-over and they're like all, "no ya don't!"

Re: BearcatMike,

I've observed that professional comedians are often the best dramatic actors. Maybe the absurdities they make us laugh about are not that far from tragedies when we fail to laugh at them, and they understand the thinness of that line.

Re: CCT,

Arthur C. Clarke took that idea in the other direction, introducing aliens that behaved as friends but when they were physically revealed, looked like Chernabog from Disney's Fantasia. The book is Childhood's End.
If aliens showed up looking like angels, I would be very wary!

Would it not be strange if Aliens were really beautiful more like Angels and one could not help falling in love with them. Well oldies like me would be resistant.  I would not take bets on anyone else. 🌺

I like science fiction. When you wrote that, it was about people. I recognize that we have some of the same viewpoints. As it is with good comedians. Many of their jokes are based on reality.  The same is true for sci-fi. Praying for your healing. I have injured my intercostal muscles many times. It is agony. Every move you make is painful. Take care, enjoy the weather.

Ouch! Sore ribs are the worst. Hope you feel better. My hubby loves Sci-fi. That movie is right up his alley. Thanks for the recommendation. We are headed to a few 80 degree days this week. I am looking forward to it. Enjoy your day.

Here's hoping the day goes just as you'd like it.

What a bummer on the ribs. I hope it doesn't affect your breathing too much. The movie sounds interesting! Here's to fast healing!!!
