We had to greatest black cat once upon a time. He would sit on my hubby's shoulders and he'd wait at the door for him to come home. This reminded me of our kitty. Thank you.

Sam444, these are all good. I'm allergic to cats, so I've never been around them. I feel sorry for black cats around Halloween. I'm afraid they will get hurt. I really don't think we should be afraid of them.

Black cats have always been considered lucky or unlucky, depending on the circumstance. I'm a bit superstitious when it comes to them crossing the path of my vehicle on a road, although I have negative reports to talk about even though it has occurred a time or two in my life.
