Blessing to you as well. I have broken a glass twice inside the dishwasher while loading it. Now that was a royal mess! I hope your foot is better and no more glass appears anywhere. Have a good evening.

Glass is tricky. There is always that one shard that gets away.

I was trying to bend a dentist pick . it broke and fell on a carpet. Fortunately I have a big old magnet swinging it up and down I Looked and the sharp hook had been captured .
Very handy for metal finding. I suppose You might have hoovered with shoes on. I hope
it does not prevent your walking.🌺

Gravity Bites. Murphy's law shows up unannounced. Some things require help. You are blessed that it didn't cut you deeply. Glad you finally got help.

Good Morning
Sam444, this has happened to me so many times that I lost count. I try to be so careful, and then if a glass does break, I try to remove all broken pieces just like you. I'm sorry to say I've cut my foot on little tiny pieces too. Thank goodness your son-in-law got the piece of glass out of your foot. I hope you had a good Mother's Day. I wish it would warm up here. It's a little too chilly for me today. It is a beautiful sunny day, but it's not warming up for a few days. I'm wishing you a good week.

It happens to me quite frequently. I don't use my new dishwasher nearly enough. Since it is just John and me, hand washing our daily dishes is easier, but I tend to break glasses more often than I care to admit to. My worst breakage to date was when I dropped my vintage 4 cup glass Pyrex measuring cup. I am happy to hear that your son-in-law was able to get that shard of glass out of your foot. That has also happened to me due to running around barefoot most of the time. 😏
