When my kids were growing up, we lived in the country, the cutest red fox could be seen from time to time. I think they are adorable! The chickens, not so much! Lol

Re: Pat

Pat I saw somewhere it was a kind of an advertisement, identical twins one was suffering from many aches and pains the other was fairly free of such problems. It never said what made the difference but I sussed  that one had an egg for breakfast each morning.

Now I don't really like eggs being at one time a poultry farmer. I was getting a stiffness

in my legs so I have started boiling one each morning and I try to peel the shell leaving the membrane as much as possible . After all if it can produce a chick.  🌺

A lot depends on the weather.

Re: SG

It seems a rather refined Fox I don't think it would trouble cats I found a little dead bird and put it on a low wall it disappeared. You see this time of the year folk  usually stop feeding the birds and that means the rats as well I once saw six running behind each other anything that enjoys a little treat is welcome. 🌺

Re: Good Morning

No Goldiec I rarely watch the television . Now I have discovered a perfect way to make a cuppa. It depends on the tea of course. It is a bit annoying the tea appears to be cut very small . Anyway it still works with the brand I use. It is loose Yorkshire tea and I just put

hardly a teaspoonful into a cup .Once one could tell ones fortune with the tea leaves,

but one cannot have everything. Pour on the boiling water wait a couple of minutes

pour the milk. Never skimmed. Drink and surprisingly the tea leaves remain At the bottom of the cup. Believe me I have tried tea bags and tea prongs this simple method though a bit

messy tipping the tea leaves in the sink is a price one has to pay.

Re: CCT.....

Yes it was a good move, I am constantly replanning my garden so that I can manage it the  following year. One has to be optimistic and risk it as I do now, falling down is the biggest threat when one is over ninety well and entertaining youngish women. 🌺

I only give them pomegranate juice.

CCT.....

I so love living in a place with a big yard and a woods beyond and wild life that visit, birds that sing and a great big window where I can watch nature's panoply.

Good Morning

We haven't had a fox in years.  A long time ago, we saw one, and it moved along and hasn't been back.  I wonder if the coyotes are keeping them away.  I hope you have a good week.  It's chilly here this morning.  Every time I think of you, I think of tea.  I think I will have a cup in honor of you.  Do you watch movies?  No matter what I'm doing during the day, I always make time to watch my soap opera.

Watch out for the foxy fox. One never knows what they will do next! I hope the cats are safe. Take care. Red rose

Rain defines the gardening success, and in my case the amount of car wash success.

Your gardening enterprise reminds me of mother's garden decades ago. She had a garden that produced all our vegetables, plus some strawberry and blackberry plantings - and we had a small flock of chickens for the eggs - she used eggshells and coffee grounds as fertilizer along with other things. Since all the food was natural, with none of the additives that go into canned and frozen foods these days, it was no doubt the healthiest diet we could ask for. Thank you for your post - I could almost see your place.

We have foxes living just a 1/2 mile up the riverbank, living in a small cave where one of the old piers has eroded over time. The Robins that visit my yard love mealworms, but they are expensive, so I give them out sparingly.
