- Go to How Are You With Unsolicited Advice? ... Me Not So Good...
I believe I know what you mean. My personality does not take well to unsolicited judgment. People mean well, but they forget the golden rule. And as you point out. They fail to use their own advice.

Re: Sherri.....
LOL Sherri.....everyone is different. I take after my Dad in that line of thought.... He never took, or asked for advice. He was taught to think for himself....and he did a good job of it.

D
It boggles my mind that people think they can just say and do what they want with other people. It's like a form of bullying for me. When I am approached by a bully I remain silent, if they persist I simply say that I am so sorry they were never loved or nurtured. If they would have been they would treat others with kindness. LolÂ

Duly noted. I have been guilty of giving unsolicited advice when someone writes about their troubles. I guess my thought process is that they are not only venting, but they are hoping for a solution. On the other hand, I appreciate advice when I have hit a brick wall and have no answer to my issue.

I am not keen on unsolicited advice either. I also do not give it. If I wanted advice, I'd ask for it.
