The time moves along and one day we just wonder how it all happened so fast. I think you are my heroine dealing with the noise of a smoke alarm dead battery. I could never do that. Years ago when I had my townhouse the battery went out at 3 a.m. I got got dressed went to Walgreens, bought their brand cuz it was cheaper. It wasn't compatible with the alarm, back to Walgreens to buy the name brand. Lol After that incident I have batteries on hand and change them with the fall clock adjustment annually. Tough lesson but I learned it! Aha!

Sherri.....

I am so blessed.   Even with so many of my loved ones already passed away, I am so blessed because all I have is good memories, beautiful memories, loving memories.  Any and all bad memories have vanished away.

I know I feel ashamed for not coming here before 2009. I wish I had been through the Blogit wars. At least it does keep the old grey matter toggling over. You know the old saying. Use it or lose it. I stopped putting photos on here and now I would have a hard time to do so which is a pity as I have some new pinks which will bloom later. I would also like to show my raised Strawberry bed. The strawberry is a perpetual bearer and is in full bloom. 🌺

With all of the aches, pains, and stresses of life, making it to old age with a plethora of great memories is a blessing to those who get the chance to do that. Have a wonderful day.
