Sam444,  I love watching the Kentucky Derby.  The horses were beautiful.  It was a nice day.

Re:

Sherri, it was so cold here yesterday too.  My bridge is hard to put in but I’m hoping it gets easier.  I hope the same for John.

Re:

CCT, it’s Sunday and I think you should relax.  Maybe drink some tea with honey and lemon.  I think it will be refreshing!  Why is your dirt so dry?  No rain?

I suppose you are as old as you feel. I feel 120 Well I have just been stockhoeing  our ground is so dry and hard but I thought I will do a large patch and keep it barren. Of course land here is really valuable if it is potential building land, but who wants to be overlooked.      .

Good morning. It was really chilly yesterday. Today holds more of a promise for nice weather if the sun shining is any indication. John has had the same issue with his bridge. It is not fun at all. I hope you both get used to it ASAP. Have a great day. ☺️

I  believe you will become a pro with the bridge in time. It just takes a while. The Derby was crazy. I think like you, not wearing one of those hats! I loke to see young people having the best time!

Sweetie, age does catch up with us I am afraid, but we are all different. This year I just can't do what I have always done but then I am grateful it took until 81 to really slow me down.

Re:

Pat, our grandparents really were tough.  When I look back on all they did, I'm amazed.  My grandma would kill the chicken and then fry it for Sunday dinner.  I could not do that.  We'd never eat meat again!

I totally forgot about the Kentucky Derby. My wife and I love the races. She grew up with horses. I totally understand what you mean about the things that Old age brings. Every day, I find myself with a better understanding of what my parents and grandparents faced. You are a survivor, and you have a lot of family support.  And you have the right attitude.

The Kentucky Derby came up quick on me this year...Baltimore's Preakness is going to be at a different location (Laurel, Maryland) because the Baltimore track is being rebuilt.

Our grandparents were tough! And they grew up before a lot of the "improvements" we experienced. I hope you find the perfect dining set.
