Re: Pat_B

I love those lyrics. There have been many great love-inspired songs throughout history.

Sadly, many cannot say the same thing. Personalities sometimes change by chance or circumstance. Obviously, you both have made a success of your marriage, which is really sweet. Good luck/

This is a beautiful tribute to your wife of 29 years. Happy Anniversary! I can't image a long-term marriage not having its share of complications. Money and health are very much at the top of list of issues that can affect any marriage. Music for sure comes into play with couples in love. John and I have a few songs of our own that have stayed with us through our 40-year journey together.

The opening lines of this post remind me of a song from 70 or 80 years ago. It begins like this: "A pretty girl is like a melody that haunts you night and day. She'll leave you and then, come back again, a pretty girl is just like a lovely tune."

So long as you are on the same page singing, nothing can go wrong between the two of you!

Mike.....

Life is a real trip with troubles and trials, sorrows, problems of one kind or another.  I'm glad that neither you nor I gave in to them and settled for whining and whimpering.   Trusting in the Love of God has brought me through the hard times.

And the symphony plays on in the key of life! Kudos in all the chords as well. The crescendo will looking back and knowing that all was meant to be. The cymbals of life represent the loving pair you are and have been! Many years and blessings of married life to you!
