The opening lines of this post remind me of a song from 70 or 80 years ago. It begins like this: "A pretty girl is like a melody that haunts you night and day. She'll leave you and then, come back again, a pretty girl is just like a lovely tune."Â

Life is a real trip with troubles and trials, sorrows, problems of one kind or another. I'm glad that neither you nor I gave in to them and settled for whining and whimpering.  Trusting in the Love of God has brought me through the hard times.
