Wow! Sounds like it was well worth the time and trouble. I was surprised the air bed didn't work better - but have never used one on cold ground. Thinking about the distance and insufficiency of the night facilities gave me a chill - but whatcha gonna do? When ya gotta go, ya gotta go.
