- Go to Even At My Age, It's a Strange Feeling to Hear About Another Young Loss
It seems there's no rhyme or reason for the ones who pass away far too soon. I have two sisters that died way too early. One sister was only a year old, run over by a car and my other sister died of an aneurysm at 59. I'm in agreement with you that it's a blessing to still be around to watch the kids grow up.

I receive newsletters from both my high school and college. It is sobering when they list the deceased alumni who are way younger than me, people who should be enjoying the prime of their lives.

Good Afternoon
Sherri, I think this is always hard when it's someone we know. When I was in 12th grade, one of the basketball players from my high school passed. He had a twin brother. I didn't know the brother's name, but his name was Roosevelt Barnes. I didn't know him in school, but it was so sad. I usually don't remember names, but I remember him. He was tall and a good athlete. They had a Memorial for him in our school auditorium.
