It reminds me of the photos of coal miners - the part of the white teeth showing. The times were so different and people's sensitivities were much less refined, I think. Charles Lamb was different. He cared. Great write, dear brother. Prayers for your continued recovery.

It is all gruesome really, If the boys had been given some king of mask, but they were expendable if they survived and were able to grow too large one wonders what the future held.

yes I know this piece does, but it still sees dark skin as inferior to white skin! And really it is only Pigment that brings the color. Pinch me and I will yelp, stab me and I will bleed red, and I guarantee all brains are pretty similar.
