Your sons are their mother’s children; they surely have your kind heart and generous ways, and they must be filled with love for you, as will be the ladies they married. Your presence in their lives would be a blessing, not a burden, to them and to your grandchildren as well. It is such a long flight though! 🌹

It is a shame how much of a hassle flying is these days. The older generations from yore had it made when it came to flying.

The trouble with families. It is surprising in a small circle I have known quite a lot of folk who have split or make no contact with their close relatives. I suppose they would not have been able to eighty years ago.🌺

and I am not eager to go back to Australia at the end of my life and become a burden to my lovely Daughter in Laws. My son's wants me home, but probably living with their brother!!LOL. I would hate to be a burden though.

Oh, boy! The mother is a force with which to be reckoned. People like that are sharp. My mom called the "Smart Dumb." Either way, I hope she doesn't end up costing more than is fair, emotionally and financially. It's hard because some people really need help and some are manipulators. Eeeiii! My best to all.
