We get regular bags asking for unwanted clothes it help charities. We would all be nude if we filled them all. Although it is handy to send those clothes that one never wears. The ground is so dry here although it rained for months previously. it is the wind blowing consistently .Time to pay for green waste collection we used to have to put a paid sticker on each bin. Now we are informed that a magic beam will be used to detect. If the service has been paid for.
We used to be able to just take unwanted rubbish to a the local
disposal premise. A stupid idea by the Council is that one must now book a slot.
It has cut the folk deliveries by a third .One wonders where the rest is ending up.
A dump was discovered recently it will cost a million to move it .

Oh yes. I have trouble getting into projects like that anymore I keep thinking that if I wait just a little longer someone else will have to do that. LOL

You'll be happy when it's done. I did that last year just before our yard sale. I didn’t sell much but i donated them to Goodwill after the sale. I have an agitating washing machine and I dont like washing my comforter in it but I take it to my daughter's house to get it cleaned. I wash throws in it. I keep saying I want a front loading machine. I might buy one when I move because I will not be taking my antiquated machine! Lol I wonder if they make machines with agitation! I might look that up one day! Lol I hope you have a great Thursday!

Since I've been retired for 20 years and haven't worn much but jeans and sweatshirts since then, all the clothes in my closet are retro. But I still need to sort & pitch and get rid of some, since I don't want to take all that excess with me when I move to senior housing.

Sherri, I love the fact that your granddaughter loves retro clothes. She reminds me so much of you. I like shopping at Aldi too. They have some really good deals, and I like to get the kids snacks when we go there. I would love to read outside, but it's much too cold here. I hope you have a good day.

You have a very thoughtful neighbor. That was sweet of Tim to be looking out for Sadie. Spring cleaning your wardrobe is smart. I finally got around to getting rid of clothes that I haven't worn in ages. My granddaughter loves my "retro" clothes as she calls them and often walks out the door with my old stuff. This year, I'm going back to wearing dresses and skirts. I found summer pretty summer dresses on Amazon. Now I just need to find sandals. I stay away from heels since John, and I are the same height. I'm headed to Aldi. Today is our big shopping trip day. Enjoy this beautiful day. Later on, I plan to find a sunny spot and read my book.
