I have a few health issues but I always pray to the Lord to give me strength to do what needs to be done to keep them from getting worse. He is an ever present God! Good post to remind us to live our best life daily as a praise to the Lord!

It is easy to become depressed as one grows older. You seem to handle it quite well. It is I believe imperative to believe in something.

We may worry about any number of possibilities only to be left in shock when something totally unexpected happens. One day at a time. Be careful. Keep moving. Peace.

I think a lot of the things we fear or experience as 'bad' are things we focus on too tightly, without the wider context that would show us how any particular event is part of the path going in the direction we need that one day we'll understand how the negatives were actually pluses. Just knowing that is likely the case, we can get a little more distance from the immediate emotional reaction to the event.
I'm thinking of STAR TREK when the ship has to fly dangerously close to the Sun to get the slingshot effect to get where they need to go!
