Very interested in the update after Easter. Jim's last days were spent in a beautiful calm atmosphere in a totally clean environment, with the very latest beds that went up and down and were quite extraordinary, but the staffing levels were appalling. Absolutely Horrific in their inability to care for their patients and Jim there for a month had a private bathroom but not one shower. Just a sponge every day.

FSI, I'm not really sure what to say. I guess I would need to know about his physical limitations, but I'm still not qualified to know what is best for Quinn. I just hope he's happy in his new place. I look forward to updates. I hope you have a good night.

I admire that he wants to walk. The body breaks down unless it's moved. I will look forward to reading what you find out. I hope it's more than just wishful thinking in his part!

It is really disheartening to hear that the institution would not assist in his independence. I am so glad he has friends like you. It is one of our most important rights regarding dignity and personal freedom. You are a real friend.

It sounds as though Quinn is in good hands with many people in his life watching over him. Every human being desire independence. Hopefully, he can attain that for himself.
