I love your crafty way! You do so many nice things! Kudos! We have had seesaw weather in Idaho as well. It's raining now. I have an abundance of blossoms on my cherry tree. I just hope the weather holds so I have a bumper crop for the neighborhood!

Good Evening
Ciel, I hope you get rain soon. I think by the time this week is over, we will have all the rain we need for at least a little while. I'm excited to hear how nice your new shower is when you get to use it. I think you are so creative. I think that is wonderful. I hope you have a good night.

Re: BearcatMike,
Being self-taught, it's easy to miss out on things a proper teacher would have told me ages ago! I did know about blocking hats, at least, though that's not needed for crocheted beanies.
Yes, the safety bars are a great reassurance!

Re: CCT,
Pollens of one sort and another, humidity in the teens and lower, hot and cold up and down like a yoyo... And here we have wildfire smoke in the air coming from southwest and northeast... I got out the air purifier I haven't used for years and it does seem to make breathing better in the bedroom at least!
It's a nice thought that the blanket will have a life of its own!

Re: Pat,
Yes, there will be photos, before and after. And I have several others that need the same attention. Today I ordered a blocking kit--about $30 for the mat and the pins--that should show up here Friday.

Re: Kabu,
I've been hearing that nearly the whole country is above average heat and dryness. And of course the weather doesn't care about political boundaries and such, so it isn't just the US.

Re: Sherri,
We'll have 20s one night this week--I hope everything is so full of spring enthusiasm that the leaves and flowers will just brush it off!

Thanks for the knowledge. I never knew that blankets required blocking during their creation. So glad you are adding safety bars for your bathroom. Enjoy your week.

We have a high pollen warning tomorrow; this time last year, there was snow on the cherry blossom. Today I rubbed sun cream on. We have had so much rain and yet the pots are dry as dust due to the warm wind. I expect your blanket will be an antique eventually. 🌺

Maybe when your blanket is all finished you can share a photo. From your description it must be really nice.

Spring is definitely in the air everywhere you look. Plenty of flowers and buds. I'm crossing my fingers that a late freeze doesn't disturb their progress. Enjoy your day. 🌞
