I used to have a lovely big ground hof here. One day I threw out a Punit of raspberries and one of Black berries we forgot to eat. My groundhog got awfully drunk on them. I went out to see why? Yes he had scoffed the lot. he then ran aroung the back yard 3 times and shot out to the front and over the road, and never came back. I suppose he thought his awful headache was my fault.

How exciting! I don't know much about ground hogs except they like to burrow and have a voracious appetite and now one with babies will be very hungry!  Haha! This is so cool to have one visit!

It is neat to see the cycle of nature in action.

Re: Re: Goldiec, we always plant vegetables and herbs in our raised beds.

Sherri, I can't wait to see all your plants blooming!  I know the Lilac bush is making everything smell good!  I love sunflowers too.  All your plants will be beautiful.  I hope you have a good day!  Do the animals stay out of your vegetables and herbs in your raised beds?

Re: Goldiec, we always plant vegetables and herbs in our raised beds.

We also planted blueberries last year, and I have raspberry plants. I have every flower and plant you can think of. Last year I added a Lilac bush, sunflowers and Black-Eyed Susans to the yard. 🌻 My yellow Rose is my favorite, and John loves his variety of Lily plants.

Good Morning

Sherri, you are going to have lots of little ones to feed.  I look forward to seeing the pictures.  I hope they don't mess with your plants.  I love the feeders in your yard by your fence.  What plans do you have for your yard this year?  Hopefully, we will have our stumps removed and the driveway graded.  Caeser wants to plant some vegetables.  I hope you have a good day.
