- Go to The Saga Of A Rescue Duck Named James Pond! LOL
This is very exciting news. It should make the loss of Pete a bit easier to bear.

I had a big duck, very male as a pet once.

Ducks make a cute pet I suppose I used to have a gander but when I introduced a goose he sort of stopped following me around. Your daughter's will come to luxury quarters.🌺

Oh, hey, I'm no great cook, but I had to learn through my 40 years with John how to throw food together that resembles a meal. My hubby loves hearty home cooked meals. The name James Pond is just too funny. Someone had a great imagination. I hope the ducks adapt to their new setting quickly. We are lucky enough to live 4 miles from a farm with a huge duck pond, and we live next to the river where there is no shortage of ducks and geese. Otherwise, I might consider having those types of feathered friends living in my yard.

I love the name James Pond. If I ever had a duck, I would name it Quackers.

Good Morning
Sam444, I'm so excited to see Louie and Huey. I think this will be a happy time for everyone. I had no idea what goes into having a duck, much less two ducks. They are so fortunate to be going to such a good family. I've been talking to the Humane Society, and they take care of so many animals. I was surprised that they have people who can care for horses. I thought that was wonderful. The branch I talked to has over 100 volunteers. It's so nice that people are willing to help animals. They not only have dogs and cats, but they also have pigs, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. This is the group I'm going to donate to. It won't be much, but they said every little bit helps. I think you and your family are wonderful. I'm wondering how you transport ducks? Sherri and John supply food and treats for many different animals and birds in their backyard. They enjoy their food. They have a few that are quite large. It makes me smile. I hope you have a good day. I could go on and on, but the post is long enough. I hope you have a good day.
