I just thought of an old Headmistress . Children were allotted a kind of biscuit during the
war with vitamins. My Dad had lumbago and asked me to carry paraffin cans the afternoon the kids were assessed. So the spiteful old headmistress took a delight in handing out the biscuits and not giving me one. Although one or two concerned children pointed it out at times. A few years later she asked my Father if I would prepare a young chicken for her each week. As she knew we kept poultry and poultry food was still on ration.
I don't know what my Father told her, but she did not get a chicken.Grrr.🌺🌺

The good news is that graham crackers can be dunked in your milk if that's what tickles your fancy. This snack is comfort food to me & your post reminds me of the kind lunch ladies who ran the school kitchen when I was a kid.

I havent had graham crackers in long time. Today it's going to be 80 degrees and it will break a record high. Too early in the year for that kind of temp. We don't have snow and my lawn needs mowing, too!

Our heat is on too, but it is set low. Crackers are one of my favorite snacks when I have them on hand. I love saltines with soup, and I enjoy graham crackers on their own. Enjoy your sweet treat and have a lovely day. 🤗

It is good when one is old, and you can sit and enjoy a treat, and if there are crumbs, who cares. We have earned a crumb or two!!
