Sam444, I've made up my mind to donate money for food for the animals from the Mentor Humane Society. It's been a very hard winter for everyone, and I feel like this is something I should do. I think I should do this donation in Pete's honor. I know your daughter and Pete had a very close bond. I hope you have a good night. My son-in-law Jim drives by the Humane Society every day when he's working, and he says they are walking the dogs. I believe they are a good Society. I think there are times when God wants us to do something, and I believe this is one of the things I've been called to do. All winter, I was asking if there was something I needed to do, and I didn't get an answer at first, but now I believe this is something I need to do. I don't have a lot of money, but I can donate some money, and that's what I'm going to do. I want the animals to have nutritious meals. I hope you have a good night.

Well, Pete looked friendly, and one can love a pet , whatever it is . Your poor daughter is probably feeling so much hurt. We all have to go through it sadly.🌺

This is such sad news. It’s so hard to lose a beloved pet. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I hope for happier times ahead for your family. I do hope Jessica is okay as well.

So sad to hear about Pete. It is amazing how close we can get to our animals. Which I think is why it is important to teach our children how to care for others. Often, we learn love from our relationship with our pets. I think God gave us animals to teach our hearts to love something other than just ourselves. Pete did his job well.

Sam444, this is truly heartbreaking news. I saw a picture of Pete today on your son-in-law's profile. I really thought he was going to be okay. When I was little, I had a duck that I spent a lot of time with on my grandparents' farm. I loved my duck. My daughter asked me what happened to my duck, and the truth is, I have no idea. I'm so sorry about Pete, and I'm saying prayers for you and the family.

Oh poor Pete, I remember Mother and I shares a Goose and he was lots of fun, especially when he was young and I would give him a swim in my bath with me!
