I wonder if it was more test anxiety than not knowing the material. I think we can block things out unintentionally as well.

I really hated tests. Here's a hard one. If you were half way up a stream and thirsty and there was a dead sheep half way up in the water from where would you fill your water bottle.

Geometry was not one of my favorite or best subjects in high school. Unit cubes, distance between points A & B, and identifying angles weren't a big deal, but the advanced mathematical principles were absolutely the most boring subject matter that I had little interest in solving. My tenth-grade loves were home economics and art classes. 🥘
