Great shared topic.
I am beginning to think all of us have esp. I have recently been looking at YouTube stories about retiring and handling your money dos and don'ts. There are many good ideas. I hated the old checking methods that we grew up on for one main reason. You had to wait for your bank statement to come in to verify your checkbook. Now I can see every transaction as it happens with online banking. And can move money online without going to the bank. Sorry for the lengthy comment. I agree, though, that money and how we handle it are part of life from childhood to old age.

Good Morning
I like the way I pay bills. I pay them early in the morning, then I put everything away, and I don't think about it for the rest of the day. I don't use a debit card, but I do use a credit card.

I have always said that money is hard to come by and it is easy to go. We probably spend way too much on travel, but you only live once. A vacation is necessary after working long hours for months at a time. It is hard to keep up with the changing times, but one must keep up or get left behind.

The new technologies and the way money is spent are very confusing to me. I liked when you deposited your paycheck on payday and wrote checks to pay the bills. Now you can just wave your credit card at a checkout reader at the store -- it's all kind of mystical.
