What a terrible accident, and a brave and loving woman that devoted her life to his disabled self.

Good Evening

I feel bad for anyone who gets hurt at work.

Poor guy. Working with wood can be dangerous. Stepdad #3 worked at Weyerhaeuser, where he lost a finger during his employment with them. The crew at the steel mill refer to the thick 6-foot icicles hanging from the edges of the roof as widow makers. The warmer days melt them just enough to make the hunks of pointy ice hazardous. Neither my granny nor John's Aunt Connie ever drove a car in their 90 something years of life. Aunt Connie worked at the Corning Glass Company in Charleroi for more than fifty years. She lived just a few blocks from the plant, so she walked, come rain, snow, or sunshine. My granny depended on rides to Sunday go to meetings from her neighbors. My grandparents drove her everywhere else that she needed to go.
