My last computer was 14 years old before I had no choice but to get a new one. Windows 10 would no longer update, and I had continuous issues that made searching take a year and a day. Thankfully, I was able to save money by keeping my computer screen that is the size of a small television. I purchased the modem, keyboard, and the mouse in a package for $400 at Best Buy.

Re: CCT....

I believe it definitely because I've done the "pull the cover off of the bed and took a long nap on the floor" bit ....and the next day I had the beginning of "Shingles".   Now that was a fun one.

Well Taps it was time to get up and I came over dizzy I grabbed at a walker and missed. So I lay on the floor  I  thought shall I pull the clothes off the bed and just go back to sleep. A little voice said no you lazy old  thing. So I crawled across to a chair that I  had paid too much money for and dragged myself into it . I then staggered back into bed. I think some tablets make one a bit out of touch. You see I fell down again outside, I think a third time might have been unlucky. 😊

Taps keep on trucking. Get a new computer. Take advantage of AI. You can now dictate a letter and send it. You can also dictate a text message. You don't even have to type.  Get some rest and get back to doing what you love. AI has made it a lot easier to do everything.

I am making the most of this time while Jim is in Hospital. Not that I want him to stay there. of course I want him home, but my body is nicely rested.

The key like you said is to keep going. It's over when we stop in my opinion. A year ago I purchased a new laptop and computer life is a lot easier with it. The beauty of being retired is you don't have a schedule and life is on your terms!
