Love this reminder that my last car trip on my own, just me, myself and I, was a trip from Kansas City to Colorado Springs and a few days later up to Boulder for a few days and then back to Denver area and other places. It was autumn and so beautiful and I got back home a day before a big snow fell across Kansas.

I liked your description of the red protest hat and will be picking up some red yarn next trip to Walmart or Michael's. I hope the weather front brings only good precipitation and not too much of it.
