It is sad, such a great person and a never ending worker for peace. Will trump allowe the nation to mourn the passing of a great man I wonder!

It is unfortunate to have Black History Month but it's the only way we have to recognize the contributions and instill hope for each generation that one day what they accomplish will be the norm. Rev. Jackson was great advocate for the black community.

In Jesse Jackson's passing, we have lost a civil rights icon and guiding light for how to be human. 🙏

I like your tribute, Some men and women rise above the norm. It is not something many achieve.🦋

Good Afternoon

BearcatMike, I was so sad when I woke up this morning and heard that Jesse Jackson had passed.  I had no idea he was so sick.  The world feels emptier with him gone.  He was a good man.  I've never gotten over Martin Luther King Jr. being gone, and now this.  I remember 1968 like it was yesterday.  I was young, and I remember how sorry I felt for his family and for the world.  I'm praying for all of us.  I think of the Sermon on the Mount.  They made it hard for Jesus in this world we live in.
