I got a lovely phone call in the morning from Jim for my Valentine and I couldn't have wished for more. A few days ago he had forgotten how to work his phone but the dialysis is a huge help.

Ciel, I think it's awesome to buy yourself a gift. I personally think if there's something you want, then you should have it. I have trouble opening my pickle jar. I turn it upside down, tap it on the bottom, and leave it sitting upside down for a while. That usually works. If that doesn't work, then I wait for my grandson or son-in-law to come home, and I ask them to open it. That always works. haha I hope you enjoyed your strawberries. Have a good night.

Your struggle with opening a jar that was too tight reminded me a jar of sauerkraut I could not open. I took it to my son-in-law and it gave him run for his money as well.

Yes, just up my street I had some bags of frozen strawberries I made some jam and it turned into toffee. Scornful remarks from associates so I gave the frozen ones away. 🌺
