I really had trouble keeping my house to my liking when I had husband and four boys who loved having friends over. Also had trouble keeping up with the laundry.  That is pretty much par for the course I think.

My house is a mess clean but naughty Jim believes if there is an open surface he should put something on it. I gradually remove stuff but then he finds something else to plonk down onto the open place. he is much worse now he is unwell.

I try to live with the idea that when something new comes in the house something has go out. I like a sleek looking hose but I do have a lot of plants and I am a fanatic for having something on every wall. Lol It is my belief thst hoarders aren't comfortable in homes that aren't like the one they're used to. I think the whole complex knows about your hidden tv! That cracks me up!Â

Bags me for the most untidy kitchen in the world I would show a picture if I could find my cameras, but I don't know if I can remember how to do it any longer. I used to like posting flowers. At least I can still grow them. and because we do not get hard winters the survival rate is 🌺🌺🌺.Â

Ha! It's funny how neighbors are so curious about how the people who live by them arrange their homes. Our neighbor Ron stopped over one day to borrow our snowblower. He couldn't believe how organized my kitchen is. I have OCD, so messes are not my thing. After a piece of his mail was delivered to our box a short time later, I was able to see why he was so shocked that day he had visited our home. I walked over to Ron's house to give him his mail, and was greeted by his wife, who invited me inside to chat a few minutes. Their house was the messiest nest I have ever seen. You just never know how another person lives, but I believe to each their own.

I love this post! Thanks for the smile about your neighbor. We have neighbors who are curious about what our house looks like on the inside. A couple of them have seen it - very few. Many are shocked! It’s very open and they are never expecting that. They immediately remark on it just like your neighbor did about your tv. I don’t know what they expected but you’re right - people are wonderful - and wonderfully amusing.Â
