Good Evening
Sam444, I'm excited for you to finish your book. I know it will be nice. I think food is expensive here too. Every time I shop, I spend well over a hundred dollars. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and I'm wishing you a nice day. I hope you have a good evening. Our temps will be in the 40s tomorrow, and I'm very thankful for that because we still have a lot of ice to melt in our driveway.

The lack of a deadline is best for publishing, I feel. In fact, Dr. Seuss did not want an advance so he could write at his proper rate.

Well fortunately one does not want as much food as one grows older. Though one could drink more if one was inclined. I am not too mad about it but I do drink Pomegranate juice and try to swallow little fish mashed as I don't like looking at then in the buff. I have a big bag of potatoes which I grew, I will have to do something with them or they will start shooting again. Good luck with the poems.🌺

I have taken notice that eating healthy is expensive. We enjoy including fresh fruits and vegetables into our daily meals, but there is a high cost for doing that. In the summer and fall, I grow my own. Thank goodness for beans, pasta, chicken, ground beef, frozen vegetables, and rice, which are still affordable. Cheap hot dogs and macaroni & cheese are really bad for human consumption, but I see people loading up on those items because it is all they can afford. If these are our daily choices, we are doomed. 🌭

prices are getting out of hand here as well. I admit I shopped today, in a better store than I usually do, I only bought small amounts of what I needed but i was almost completely out of cat stuff. I never run out. The boss would never forgive me, and would just Yowel longer and louder until I went to the shops again so yes some things I wanted that I don't cook when Jim is here but I love, like brussel sprouts. Oh I had some tonight. Boiled in water and a bit of butter and when almost cooked I added a tin of vegetable soup and brought to the boil. I ate half of it and have half left for tomorrow!
