It Always seemed so Ironic to me that.....

.....someone so intelligent and hard working and fun to emulate ended up with a really bad case of Alzeheimers.    By age 75, he could no longer drive his car because he'd be totally lost, and by 80 he sometime did not even  know who he was or with whom he belonged.....but he was always loveable.

Now that is, or was, Like my own Father was and I have never met anyone my own age quite like dad was. he was a farmer so that meant back then from leading a team of horses to fixing machines and vehicles, to being a great husband father and son. yes he could sing and play several instruments but lost his hearing and that loss meant he couldn't do what he had when he was young.

What a fine man your father was. I'm very glad for you that you had such a great role model! My father was not a very good person due to his drinking!
