As far as being a fan
I lived in NY growing up in the 50's and my father was a Chicago Bears fan and also rooted for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, as a kid liking the New York Giants both in baseball and football I was bewildered by this but as I grew up I saw what a true fan he was right up until he died. He never went to the Yankees, or Dodgers or any other football team.
