Re: Re: I love the no smoking rule
It's great that you are ready and prepared. Safety in the home is never a bad idea.Â

I like the idea of safety inspections, it pays to be safe. And it's refreshing to know everyone is following the rules to keep everyone safe!Â

Re: Sherri.....
The only rules we have are about safety and no smoking even in the parking lot and yards. I'll be ready for inspection as soon as I make my bed and get dressed

When my mother-in-law lived in an apartment at the high rise, they had annual inspections. She loved rearranging furniture and changing her pictures and wall sconces around that hung on the walls. She got in trouble for the trail of patched holes she left behind. She was forever changing her mind about what looks best here or there. She said that it never really felt like a real home since there were so many rules that had to be followed to live there, but the benefit was that she only paid a few hundred dollars a month. The utilities were included with the cheap rent. Looking at the cost of rent these days, I would think that following the rules would have been the best way to get along with the inspectors. Maybe you can ask them how they feel about a woman's right to change her mind in her own space that she pays rent on monthly.
