Pat, I won’t open a box for fear I will eat it. Haha. I am going to watch movies though and the house is nice and warm so I’m good. I will leave the cookies for the kids.

Well we keep getting rain all day today years ago it would have been snow.
It is a bit of gentle torture describing all those yummies. It just makes me wonder
If I should attempt to make some strawberry jam tomorrow the last lot was strawberry
toffee. I shall have to suffer the scornful remarks from my helpmate as he has learned from his wife quite a lot of cooking experience and viewed my last attempt scornfully 🌺

I hope you've got some hot chocolate to go with those amazing cookies. And a good book, some peace and quiet until the thundering herd returns home - enjoy it. As for the new burst of winter, I hope it's short and melts quickly...

When I was a youngun, the going thing was to be a Campfire Girl. We had uniforms and sold cookies and had lots of fun. I don't hear about them anymore. I wonder if they are still around. Since I only had sons, I never looked up anything for girls... It was Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. I always loved the cookies. The best were the chocolate covered mint ones.

Sam444, I will be so glad when your stagnant air advisory is lifted. I am looking forward to a quiet night. It will be nice when it warms up around here. I like snow, but this winter has been a bit much. We've had a few winters that have been unreal, and this one will go down in the record books for us. I hope you have a good day.

I will probably get some cookies, too. The game we are planning to go to in San Francisco is one of two highlight, one is girl scout day, the other is a corduroy hat giveaway. I hope the terrible weather passes quickly. I checked my weather app this morning and the stagnant air advisory will be lifted Sunday night at 11. I am so ready for clean air. I hope you have an enjoyable night. It's nice to have the quiet times, too.
