YEs I always thought going to the Doctor with a pain in the rectum and one would come away with an extra nasty.

Good Evening
FSI, This winter, the school authorities have shut down the schools if too many children get sick. I don't remember them doing that when I went to school.

Boy, when I was in school they didn’t care about sick kids falling behind, The lesson plan continued and the student had to make up the work or keep up while sick.

I never heard of strep throat when I was in high school. It is a relatively new term for me. I first learned about it when my two youngest were attending high school. The teachers were smart to use whatever means they needed to get the students who were present to not fall behind.
