Re: Sherri_G

Sorry to hear about your pain. My father was in and out of the hospital. He endured a lot of pain from his ailments. When I entered my 60's, pain has also accompanied me. Thankfully, it is not every hour of the day that I have pain. Like you said, keep on keeping on.

Re: Mike.....Taps

You sound like you were quite an athlete in your day. Many people have a hard time running a mile. You got me with the 1000 rope jumps in one exercise. I hurt my knee a while back. I will be 68 in July, and I can't jump rope either. As a former basketball player, that sounds crazy but true. I hope neither of us has to run from a grizzly. He would have a 2-course meal.

Very wise words! The most important thing is to not quit and stay the course and ask the Lord for guidance!

Mike.....

Running (as an adult) one mile was always enough for me each time.   I could do it in 12 minutes and that was all I wanted.  My fun exercise was rope jumping.....I could go on forever but I usually stopped at 1,000.    At 88, I don't have enough spring in my legs to jump anymore so I've segued to walking.   I couldn't run if grizzly was after me.

Blessings to you as well. I do hope you continue to heal and quickly. You’re so right, that first mike if anything is the hardest!

I understand completely. Pain has become my companion for the past decade. Staying mobile does seem to ease the sore muscles and battled bones though. Hope you feel better. Keep on keeping on. 🏃
