A very positive Post. Injuries are no fun at any time of one's life but as we get older, painful isn't always all we get. Sometimes full recovery is tough. I will pray for you, for full healing.

When I encounter the proverbial dam or roadblock I remind myself that it's that way because I'm not following the path the Lord intended for me.

Yes it is a toughy, I know it was icy and perhaps it was a one off.
It is now suggesting that wearing thinner soles enables one to feel
ones way more easily especially in icy weather. I don't know if it has been proven.
Years ago I used to wear leather boots
with studs they were so good for chilling ones toes and getting chilblains.

I love your optimism. It is hard getting back to work after an injury, especially when we are older. We have both recently been through it ourselves. I'm happy to hear that you will be getting back to it. Slow and steady wins the race. Enjoy your day.
