A very human teacher, my education lacked ...not so much brilliant teachers though most had no real experience, and about one year of teacher education,as they were without interest in we children and then growing into adult pupils, but just wanted to get through the day and get back home!

I was young when the Yanks came. Of course they look great in their pressed uniforms.
The young girls were captivated. Of course one never knew the pedigree..
I think you would have topped in higher education but sadly it is not always the brightest
or the most deserved who get the acclaim. 🌺
