Good Afternoon

Taps, I'm really tired of facebook too.  It's boring to me too.

Taps

It is quite depressing for a lot of older folk especially if they were treated with Valium years ago and have relied on that drug. There is a penalty to pay. Sometimes memories way back

are hard to remember as one does not really want too, but the pain is still there and it can feel miserable not knowing what it is.. Don't worry I am sure you feel like a lot of folk this time of the year.🌺

Re: Taps

I gave up[ that sort of stuff years ago. I know a neighbor who has 200 friends on Face book but would not answer the door to anyone.🌺

You are definitely going through a phase. It is a mixture of social media overload and the winter humdrums. I get pummeled on Facebook by Words with Friends game requests from family and friends. I just cannot keep up with all of them along with work, and my household chores. Maybe a hot cup of coffee, a warm blanket, a good book and a sit down in a comfy chair by a warm location will do the trick.

I think it's just a slump or funk right now. As it has been said, 'This, too, shall pass.' I'm not a big fan of Facebook other than reels on particular subjects. I hope you continue to write here because I truly enjoy your posts!

Pat....

Thank you.... I just got a note from Sis Nila telling me basically the same thing.    I won't slit  wrists yet.   I should have realized it was too much winter and too much of what you say combined.   I think I'm going to get in the kitchen and cook.

It's SMF: Social Media Fatigue. Sooner or later, it hits us all, making us depressed, discouraged and cranky. Don't give up. Just do the other things that keep you going - reading, contacts with loved ones. It's a sign you're still cooking with gas in that mind of yours. 😃
