I suppose sometimes one does not realize the true character of the person one decides to live with. I once saw a man punch his girl friend quite viciously. I thought at the time she will be very silly if she marries him.. ๐ฆ๐

Thank you loyalty is one of the redeeming feature of love. I once was an acquaintance of a quite ordinary country girl. She married a local; chap and sadly developed C.ย I saw her bravely limping up to my fruit and veg stall a few years later. Her husband left her as soon as she was diagnosed at least she had the house> To me it seemed a dreadful betrayal.๐บ
