Sea Gypsy
Sorry dear, . I could not say the nickname he was known by/ Remember this was hundred years ago. I mean I made potato nets that sold for sixpence. There was a shop still here
where for a few pence one could lean on a thick rope throughout the night '
You see if you spent the night in the workhouse clothes had to be put in a large oven
overnight to kill the nasties.🌺

Re: Re: Sea Gypsy
Okay, I’ll guess. A bit of vanilla extract; some pieces of chocolate; peppermint schnapps, a bit of butter? Surely not oats! ❓😄

Re: Sam
This is funny, I could not tell you the nickname of the man who made the rock. Although his apprentice did make peppermints later on. We sold them but we had to be careful because they soon went sticky.. Oh! dear I keep laughing over this blog. Perhaps I will reveal all when I retire.🌺🦋😍

Good Evening
I love mint, and I love rock candy. I haven't had any in a long time! I hope you are having a good night. Stay warm! We were snowed in today.

Minty fresh! Lol I read this twice and each time it put a delightful smile on my face. I thought of rock candy from my childhood. I can still taste it!
