Re:
Sherri, it's been snowing throughout the day. The kids have cleaned off the cars a few times. They had to shovel the apron so we could get in and out of the driveway if needed. I think you would love to have a heated mattress pad on a day like this. The snow just keeps coming down. Stay warm.

Re:
FSI, I'm so glad you are staying inside. It is not a good idea to be outside this weekend. Stay warm!

I'm staying inside as well. If I don't have to go out in this, I'm not going to.

I'm sure that your area is getting hammered by the snow. We live not far from you, and we have been slammed. I plan to measure it here in a bit to see how deep it is. I have already shoveled the path once, but the snow won't stop falling, so I will have to do it once more before John gets home. He will use the snow blower to really make a dent in the snow. A warm mattress pad sounds heavenly. I'm going to check Amazon for one. Stay warm and safe.

Re:
Kabu, I'm so glad you aren't getting the worst of this storm. It's brutal and dangerous. We are staying inside. I can't handle the cold when the temperatures are arctic. We've been below zero since Friday. I hope you have a good day.

Re:
Sea Gypsy, thank you so much. I'm fortunate that I know what to do during these big storms. I've spent many winters in Cleveland. This is a big storm, but I'm hoping for the best. Since we've got coffee and heat, we are starting the morning off well. Thank you for the blessings, and I wish you a good day.

Re:
Sam444, I know polluted air makes it so hard to breathe. Thankfully, you got some fresh air. We are staying in the house where it's warm. It's supposed to snow all day. I will know more as the day goes by. I think we are looking at possibly 10 inches or more.

Omaha seems to be a sort of haven place. We hardly ever seem to get the brunt of the worst weather. Yes it is cold, but bearable and for us, well we stay home.

Hoping for the best for you. It’s unsettling for sure. Good that your house is warm and you have supplies. Blessings to you and all in the face of Fern.

I hope you do not get inundated with snow. It's such a chore to clear it. Since Jan. 9 we have been stagnation designation. The air was so polluted. Today we got enough wind to get rid of the inversion. I was thinking about the folks on Blogit facing this upcoming storm abd feeling a bit guilty that I was so happy to see blue skies and sun. My kitchen was so warm from it. I have a southeast exposure. I must say that 15 days of polluted air is absolutely horrendous! Stay safe and warm. Don't retake unnecessary risks!
