Lots going on in this poem. I liked old poems being a way forward. Like the old saw, 'We only hurt the ones we love' and toffee may not be enough to bail one out. I liked the idea that perhaps the person had it rehearsed in the event things go awry. It's always good to be prepared, lol! The use of dice was superb. Chance is a bitter pill at times. Today is the time to live because tomorrow will it's day in court so to speak. Another great one!!!! 👍
