I of course did get used to heavy snow laid down when I lived in Canada on those few afres. I never minded because I could stay inside and watch the snow falling on the other side of a window.

I don't think anyone seen this winter storm hitting places where the daily sunshine and warm weather are taken for granted. I have lived in a few places where the falling snow causes over the top chaos due to it not being the normal thing that people are used to driving around in. Virginia Beach and southern California are just two examples of that. We have all been warned far enough in advance that we have had time to plan for the worst. I pray that everyone gets through it unscathed. 🙏
