For goodness sake it is no wonder women rebelled in the middle of the last century. I remember learning to smoke when I was alone on the farm. I learned how to light how to draw back without coughing, how to hold a cigarette. Then I smoked just a couple of times a year for fun until eventually I became addicted and smoked for some years. Finally I found I could hardly walk up stairs after puffing along so I quit and am so pleased that I did.

One does not see many women smoking. Although a few do other things. Who cares these days.

I did not know about her history. Very fascinating. Of course now, smoking is looked down upon.
