That seems like almost an ocean of water. That is incredible. I have visited Lake Michigan near Milwaukee. And Lake Erie. I never thought about all the shipping and trade in that area. Great Post.

Fascinating facts. We live 4 hours from Lake Erie. It is stunning in some areas. The lake resembles a sandy beach you would see on the eastern seaboard.
